Things you’ll need to get started:
- Computer (Mac or PC) connected to the Internet
- iTunes installed or another music application that you use to play MP3 audio files on your computer
- A chair, couch, bed – or anything you can use to relax and close your eyes
Nice to have but not completely necessary:
- MP3 personal music player device like iPod, iPhone, or any other MP3 player
- If you plan on listening to the audio files through your computer, then earphones connected to your computer for the best experience
- High-speed internet connection for downloading the complete audio set
Download and install the audio programs on your computer:
- Click on the download button from your browser. The download is a simple zip folder that contains all of the MP3 files contained in your program.
- If your browser asks you where you would like to download the ZIP folder, we suggest putting it on your desktop. If your browser doesn’t allow you to specify where you would like to download files, then it will save it where it normally saves all of your download files. Due to the size of our mp3 programs they must first be downloaded to your computer and then synced with your favorite mp3 device.
- Wait for the download to finalize. Depending on your internet connection, it could take anywhere from 5 to 35 minutes to complete.
- Navigate to the ZIP folder that you have just downloaded and double click to extract the contents of the ZIP folder.
- If you are using a PC, then most computers have the WinZip application which should automatically open after you have double-clicked the folder. If your computer does not have the WinZip application you can download it for free at http://www.winzip.com/win/en/downwz.htm. Select where you would like the folder extracted to. Again, we recommend the desktop so that finding the folder is simple.
- If you are using a Mac, simply double click on the ZIP folder and it will extract. Again, selecting to have it save on the desktop is recommended as finding it becomes easy as you go to the next step.
- If using iTunes: Open iTunes and simply add the audio files to your library:
- Drag the audio unzipped folder and drop into iTunes.
- Make sure that there are all files with the artist of “Circle + Bloom” now in your library. If they are not you should try the Add To Library function within i-Tunes. to use this option go to the File tab from i-Tunes and select Add to Library. Then highlight the unzipped Circle + Bloom audio files and select open.
- We recommend that you now create a new Playlist with all program files that way when you are using either your iPod or iPhone, you can easily navigate to your Circle + Bloom playlist each and every day. Simply select File + New Playlist and then select all of the programs to be included in the new playlist.
- Sync the iPod/iPhone/iShuffle to your computer. Make sure to select the new Playlist to be synced with the device. After you attach your iPod to the computer, select the iPod device on iTunes and navigate to the music category and select the new Playlist to be included in the syncing process.
- Most other MP3 listening devices operate in a similar fashion to the iTunes application. Some of the devices operate as external hard drives where after connecting the device to the computer, you woudl just simply drag and drop the folder onto the device. We suggest referring back to the instructions of the manufacturer if you have specific problems syncing this information.
- Start listening to the program.
Download and install the audio programs on your iPad, iPhone, or other mobile device:
- First, make sure that you’ve run all of the software updates on your mobile device and download the free app, iZip, from the App Store.
- On your phone, open your email you received after your purchase. Click on your download link.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to “click here”. Click only only once when directed. It can look like nothing is happening at this point, but that’s okay. The download is working, there just isn’t always a progress bar displayed. Give your mobile device plenty of time to process the download. This step can take up to 15 minutes, depending on your cellular network’s speed or the strength of your wi-fi signal. If it still looks like nothing is happening after 15 minutes, give your phone and additional 10 minutes to process the download.
- When your zip file appears on the screen, you should have the option to “Open in ‘iZip’” in the upper corner. Click here once. (This may also take a few moments to process)
- iZip will open and ask “Would you like to extract all files?” Choose OK.
You will now be able to listen to your download directly on your iPhone, iPad or other mobile device directly from the iZip app!
(Note: The mp3 files will not be in your iTunes. Whenever you want to listen please open iZip and listen to the files directly from there. If you want to be able to listen to your download in iTunes we recommend downloading to your computer first. Then sync your mobile device to have the program in your iTunes on your mobile device.)
Making sure your download is completed:
Especially on a PC, it is sometimes not completely evident that the download has been completed. There may already be a folder where you decided to download it, but when you open the folder, there is nothing there! This is because the download was not yet completed. Just either let it keep downloading, or start again the download process again.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if my download is interrupted and the zip file is now fully saved?
Simply go back to your account, to the page with the download link and start the process again by clicking on the link. The browser may see that you already have a file saved and may ask you to overwrite the existing file, which you should click “yes” to.
